Hónapokkal ezelőtt kezdődtek meg az egyeztetések a rendező Garilla Racing Kft. és a verseny kijelölt útvonala által érintett területek tulajdonosai között, hogy mindkét fél érdekeinek szem előtt tartása mellett hatodik alkalommal is megrendezhető legyen az idényzáró futam ebben a térségben.
A tárgyalások nem zajlottak zökkenőmentesen, mivel három járás, hat község külterülete érintett a verseny lebonyolításában, erdőkkel és vadászterületekkel.
A verseny sport -és turisztikai szempontokból képviselt értékeit ismervén öt település polgármesterének támogatását megkérdőjelezhetetlenül élvezhette a rendezőség: Nagy Gábor, Nyirád, Horváth Zoltán Kolontár, Poór Zoltán Pusztamiske, Németh Balázs Szőc és Bedő Lajos Zalahaláp polgármestereinek segítő közbenjárásával a verseny Védnökeként köszönthetjük Dr. Navracsics Tibor területfejlesztésért és az uniós források felhasználásáért felelős miniszter urat, Dr. Kovács Zoltán országgyűlési képviselő urat, valamint Polgárdy Imre Veszprém Megye Önkormányzat Közgyűlésének elnökét. Látványos és izgalmas verseny vár az indulókra és a nézőkre egyaránt!
Magyar Nyílt Terep-rallye Országos bajnokság idénre tervezett versenynaptárából hat helyszín helyett csupán négy alkalom adódott arra, hogy megmutathassák tudásukat és kitartásukat a versenyzők. Eddig Pápocon, majd a romániai Satu Maren, majd azt követően Várpalotán rajtolhattak el a két, illetve négykerekűek. Az utolsó lehetőségre Nyirádon és környékén kerül sor.
A kezdeti bizonytalanságok okán eleinte kevés nevezés érkezett, de mostanra már közel 60 járműre duzzadt a teljes mezőny létszáma, akik közül jó néhányan küzdhetnek még a bajnoki címért. A Zóna Bajnokág T1, T2, T4 és H kategóriájában még nem dőlt el, kié lehet majd a legértékesebb kupa, ahogyan a hazai értékelés T4-es kategóriáján kívül is nyitottak a lehetőségek. Az utánpótlásnevelés szempontjából pedig különösen jó hír, hogy a Challenge kupában hatan mérkőznek meg.
Az útvonaltervben még az utolsó pillanatban is módosításra volt szükség, alkalmazkodva a területhasználattal kapcsolatos helyi elvárásokhoz, így az eredetiekkel ellentétben az utolsó szakasz útvonala hosszabb lesz, ezzel az össztáv is emelkedik.

A verseny össztávja 310 km, ebből 233 SS.
Pénteken, az első jármű 11:15-kor hagyja el a nyirádi Parc Fermét, és az aznapra szánt szakaszokat várhatóan 14 óra körül teljesíti.
Szombaton 8:15-kor kezdődik a program, ami megközelítőleg 14:30-kor ér véget az elsőként célba érők számára.

Negotiations began months ago between the organiser Garilla Racing Ltd. and the owners of the areas affected by the designated route of the race, to ensure that the interests of both parties are taken into account and retain the competition in this region for the sixth time
Knowing the value of the competition from a sporting and tourist point of view, the support of the mayors of five municipalities was unquestionable. A spectacular and exciting competition awaits competitors and spectators alike
Instead of the six venues of the Hungarian National Championships planned for this year, the competitors were able to show their skills on only four occasions. So far, the two- and four-wheelers have started in Pápoc, followed by Satu Mare in Romania and then Várpalota. The last opportunity will take place in and around Nyirad.
Previously, there were few entries due to uncertainties, but now the total field has grown to nearly 60 vehicles, with many more in contention to win the championship.
In the T1, T2, T4 and H categories of the Zone Championship, it is still to be decided who will win the most valuable trophy, and the options are open in the national classification as well, except for the T4 category. From the point of view of junior training, it is particularly good news that six competitors will fight in the Challenge Cup.
Last-minute changes were needed to the route plan to adapt to local land-use requirements, so the route of the final section will be longer than originally planned, increasing the overall kilometres.

The total distance of the race is 310 km, of which 233 SS.
On Friday, the first vehicle will leave the Parc Fermé in Nyirad at 11:15 and is expected to complete the stages for the day at around 14:00.
On Saturday, the programme will start at 8:15 and finish at approximately 14:30 for the first racers.
Spectators will be informed on Thursday, about the designated spectator points.
