Több mint hetven jármű vett részt a Tabajdon rendezett tereprallye teszten és iskolában
Nem egészen egy hét múlva – május 7-től 8-ig – elrajtol a 2021-es Nyílt Magyar Tereprallye Bajnokság a Pápocon és környékén rendezendő Riverside Bajával, és a szakág, valamint a sportág hazai jelenlegi és remélt versenyzői egy remek hangulatú teszttel és az újoncok számára rendezett iskolával zárták a felkészülést az idei szezonra. Oláh Gyárfás, a Magyar Nemzeti Autósport Szövetség elnöke kijelentette, nagyon nagy szüksége van a sportágnak a május 1-ei, Tabajdon tartott rendezvényre, ahol jó volt megtapasztalni a tereprallye-ban érdekeltek összefogását a versenyzőktől a tisztviselőkön át egészen a pályabírókig. Egy biztos, a hétvégi bajnoki rajton már nézők is lehetnek.
A Tereprallye szakág újonnan megválasztott vezetősége mindent elkövet annak érdekében, hogy a sportág visszakerüljön oda, ahova mindig is tartozott. Ennek érdekében a tavalyi esztendőben a vírus áldozatává vált bajnoki szezon után 2021-ben egy hat állomásból álló Nyílt Magyar Tereprallye Bajnokságot szerveztek, melynek szezonnyitójára, a Riverside Bajára május 7-én és 8-án kerül sor Pápócon. Ám előtte, május 1-én megrendezésre került a Majáliskola, amely egyrészt az újoncok számára biztosított lehetőséget az elméleti és gyakorlati képzésre, illetve a sportág valamennyi aktív versenyzője letesztelhette, hogy is tart valójában a felkészülésben nem egészen egy héttel a bajnoki rajt előtt.
Nos, résztvevőkben nem volt hiány Tabajdon, hiszen több mint hetven jármű – autó, motor, quad és side by side – szelte a kilométereket a három és fél kilométeres pályaszakaszon, és mire a nap véget ért, mindenki elégedetten távozhatott. Természetesen a vendéglátásról sem feledkeztek meg a szervezők, hiszen a tesztpálya szomszédságában található a remek tereprallye-versenyző, Lónyai Pál farmja, ahol az elméleti oktatást követően minden résztvevőt szeretettel vártak majd egy jó ebédre. Az eseményen mind az MNASZ – Oláh Gyárfás –, mind pedig a Magyar Motorsport Szövetség (MAMS) – Hermann Henrik – elnöke jelen volt, és előbbi kijelentette, reményei szerint ezzel a rendezvénnyel végleg lezárult a szakágat immár majd másfél éve sújtó pokoli időszak.
„Nagy örömmel néztem körbe Tabajdon, hiszen az új és a régi ismerős arcok egyaránt azt jelentik a számomra, hogy végleg magunk mögött hagyjuk ezt a nehéz, coviddal sújtotta hosszú hónapokat. Mindenki várta már, hogy a tavalyi nullázás, vagyis versenymentes év után végre autóba ülhessen és száguldhasson. Bízom benne, hogy hasonló látvány fogad majd mindenkit a hétvégén, Pápócon és környékén megrendezendő idei első bajnoki futam is. Ugyanis nagy örömünkre 2021-ben visszatér a tereprallye is, és ebben az évben egy hatállomásos magyar bajnokságot tudunk megrendezni” – fogalmazott Oláh Gyárfás.
Az MNASZ elnöke nem titkolta, jó volt látnia azt az összefogást, ami most a szakágat jellemzi, hiszen úgy tűnik, jelenleg tényleg egyet szeretne versenyző, csapatvezető, szövetségi vezető és tisztségviselő, valamint pályabíró: a sportág felemelkedését.
„Nagyon nagy szükség van ezekre a tesztekre és iskolákra, hiszen ezek adják a tereprallye jövőjét, valamint az utánpótlásképzés fontosságát is előtérbe helyezi. Ugyanis a mai helyzetben nagyon nehéz olyan új versenyzőt találni, aki az anyagi háttér előteremtésén túl azonnal képes egy T1-es vagy T2-es autóval, illetve komoly motorral versenyezni. Ezekre itt a side by side kategória, vagy éppenséggel az idei szezontól kiírt Challenge Kupa, ahol az az elsődleges cél, hogy versenykörülmények között szokjanak bele a sportágba érkezők a tereprallye-t. Ráadásul egy-egy ilyen rendezvényen a régebbi és új versenyzőknek van ideje arra, hogy beszélgessenek egymással” – mondta Oláh Gyárfás.
A hazai autósport első embere természetesen örül annak, hogy a járványhelyzetben odáig jutott az ország, hogy lassan nyitni lehet, azaz a sportrendezvényeken bizonyos feltételekkel megjelenhetnek a nézők.
„Eddig is betartottuk, és ezután is betartjuk a jogszabályokat. Az MNASZ a közönség ismételt megjelenésével kapcsolatban egy iránymutatást fog kiadni, és minden eszközzel segíteni fogjuk a versenyszervezők kommunikációs munkáját. Már mos, a hétvégén is ott lehetnek majd a nézői pontokon azok, akik rendelkeznek védettségi igazolvánnyal, vagy nem töltötték be a 18. életévüket. Ugyanakkor a rendezők számára fontos, hogy az érvényben lévő egészségügyi szabályokat, mint például a távolságtartás vagy éppen a maszkviselés, betartsák és betartassák mindenkivel” – jelentette ki az MNASZ elnöke, aki ha már ott volt Tabajdon, maga is kipróbálta, milyen is egy side by side segítségével száguldani a mezőkön és az erdei utakon.

Gyárfás Oláh: “These events ensure the future of the sport!”
In less than a week – from May 7 to 8 – the 2021 Hungarian Open Off-Road Rally Championship will begin with the event ’Riverside Baja’ which is held in and around Pápoc. The current and the future generation of Hungarian off-road competitors ended their preparation for the season with a test and a school training for the rookies and newcomers. Gyárfás Oláh, the president of the National Automobilsport Federation of Hungary, stated that the sport is in great need of these events like the one held in Tabajd on May 1, where it was good to see the cooperation between everybody who is involved in off-road rally, from the competitors to the officials and judges. And the most important thing, there could be spectators at the start of the championship on the weekend.
The newly elected directorate of the Hungarian Off-Road Rally Federation is determined to do everything they can in order to put the sport back where it has always belonged. Therefore, after last year’s Championship which was cancelled due to Covid-19, in 2021 the Federation has organised a six-event Hungarian Open Off-Road Championship and the opener event, so called Riverside Baja will take place between May 7 and 8 in Pápóc. But before that, on the 1st of May, the Majáliskola was held. On the one hand, the event gave chance to the rookies and newcomers to have theoretical and practical training and on the other hand it was a good test for the active competitors to see how they could prepare for the start of the season.
There was no shortage of participants in Tabajd, as more than seventy vehicles – cars, motorbikes, quads and side by sides – gained experiences on the three and a half kilometres long track. At the end of the day, everybody could leave the place satisfied. Obviously, the organizers did not forget about the hospitality either. Next to the track we can find the farm of Pál Lónyai – one of the greats of the off-road drivers – where the theoretical training took place and where every participant was welcomed for a good lunch. The event was attended by the president of the National Automobilsport Federation of Hungary, Gyárfás Oláh and the president of the Hungarian Motorsport Federation, Henrik Hermann. Oláh stated that he hoped this event finally put an end to a horrible and race drought one and a half year.
’It was a great pleasure to look around in Tabajd, because to see the familiar and new faces of the sport means that we can leave behind these difficult, covid-stricken long months. Everyone was excited to finally be able to sit in the car and race after last year’s race drought. I hope we can see a similar picture on the weekend in Pápóc where we start the Championship. We are really glad and proud to be able to organize a six-event Hungarian Off-Road Championship in 2021.’ – said Gyárfás Oláh.
According to the president, it was good to see the collaboration that now characterizes the off-road sport. Everyone who is involved fights for the same aim: the rise of the sport in Hungary.
’There is a great need for these tests and school trainings as these events mean the future of the off-road rally. Moreover, such events can emphasize the importance of the youth training. Nowadays it is really hard to find a new driver who has a stable financial background and be able to race a T1 or a T2 car immediately or find someone who is ready to sit on a top category motorbike and compete with the best. In this season, the side by side category and the Challenge cup is announced to be for the newcomers who can gain experience while they are under the pressure of competitive conditions. Last but not least, these events serve for a place where the drivers can share their experiences with each other.’ – said Oláh.
The main person of Hungarian automobilsport is glad that in the epidemic situation, the country has reached the point where spectators can appear at sporting events under certain conditions.
’We have complied with the law so far and we will continue to do so. The National Automobilsport Federation of Hungary will issue a guideline on the re-appearance of the spectators and we will help with the communication for the organisers of the competition. On this weekend the ones who have immunity certificate or have not reached the age of 18 are able to visit the spectator points. At the same time, it is important for the organizers that the current health rules, such as social distance and face mask wearing, are observed and observed by everyone ’ – said the president of The National Automobilsport Federation of Hungary, who also tried his best with a side by side through the roads of Tabajd.
