A volt magyar miniszterelnök, Kállay Miklós versenyautója, egy Ford A modell is ki lesz állítva a nagykállói szervizparkba
Már nincs két hét, és július 8-10. között Nagykállón folytatódik a 2021-es Közép-Európai Zóna Bajnokság és a Nyílt Magyar Tereprallye Bajnokság. Folyamatosan érkeznek a nevezések a Nyír1 Bajára, melyen ott lesz a rajtnál az elmúlt évek magyar bajnoka, a Dakart többször is teljesítő Miroslav Zapletal. Sőt, a viadalnak ezúttal történelmi múlttal rendelkező „vendége” is lesz, melyet Belicza László, Kállósemjén polgármestere hoz el Nagykállóra.
A tavalyi, versenymentes év után a poraiból feltámadó hazai tereprallye szakág 2021-re egy hatállomásos bajnokságot írt ki, amelyből két viadalt – Riverside Baja és a Baja Satu Mare – már meg is rendezett nagy sikerrel és még nagyobb mezőnnyel. A harmadik versenyre, a Nyír1 Bajára július 8-10. között kerül sor, mégpedig Nagykállón rendezik meg, és ez a verseny nemcsak a hazai bajnokság harmadik viadala, hanem az FIA Közép-európai Zóna (CEZ) Tereprallye Bajnokság következő állomása is lesz egyben. A látványra és a nagy küzdelemre már most fogadni lehet, hiszen mindkét eddigi versenyt megnyerő páros, a Miroslav Zapletal, Marek Sykora (Riverside Baja) és az összetettet vezető Molnár Balázs, Molnár Gabriella (Baja Satu Mare) is rajthoz áll.
„Javában zajlik már a nevezés, és az eddigiek alapján kijelenthetem, nagyon komoly nemzetközi és magyar mezőny gyűlik majd össze Nagykállón, hiszen a legjobb hazai versenyzők mellett újra visszatér közénk Miroslav Zapletal is. Homokos talajú pályákon összesen a két nap alatt 265 kilométert kell majd az indulóknak megtenni. Ráadásul az előrejelzések szerint nagyon jó idő várható, így minden adott lehet egy igazi, klasszikus nagy versenyhez” – mondta Csató Attila, a verseny szervezője.
A pályán zajló küzdelem mellett a szervizparkban is lesz egy igazi, történelmi látványosság. Belicza László, Kállósemjén polgármestere elárulta, a nagyközség tulajdonában lévő, 90 éves Ford A modellt is megcsodálhatja minden érdeklődő. Ezzel a modellel indult annak idején hazánk egykori miniszterelnöke, Kállay Miklós a Debrecen-Tokaj versenyen.
„Örömünkre szolgál, hogy kiállíthatjuk a Nyír1 Baján a büszkeségünket. Annak idején, a francia-holland határon találtunk rá és vásároltuk meg az autót. 2015-ben teljesen felújítottuk, és azóta működőképes. Persze vannak vele időnként gondok, szeszélyes, mint egy ilyen idős hölgy” – árulta el Belicza László.

Less than two weeks and the Central European Zone Championship (CEZ) and the Hungarian Open Off-Road Championship 2021 will continue in Nagykálló between July 8-10. Entries are constantly arriving to Nyír1 Baja. Miroslav Zapletal, the Hungarian champion of recent years who has finished the Dakar several times will be among the starters as well. The race itself will have a special „guest” as the mayor of Kállósemjén, László Belicza brings something really special.
After last year when we could not organise any competition, the Hungarian Off-Road Rally Federation was resurrected from its dust and announced a six-event championship in 2021. Two races – Riverside Baja and Baja Satu Mare – have already took place with great success and record amount of competitors. The third race – the Nyír1 Baja – will be held in Nagykálló from July 8 to 10. Beyond that Nyír1 Baja will be the third event of the Hungarian Open Off-Road Championship 2021, it will also be the next stop of the FIA Central European Zone Championship (CEZ). You can take it granted that the race will be very interesting with full of excitement. Both of the winner pairs of the last two competition – Miroslav Zaplatel, Marek Sykora (Riverside Baja) and Balázs Molnár, Gabriella Molnár (Baja Satu Mare) – will be on the startlist.
’The entry is in full swing, and based on what we have seen so far, I can state that a very serious international and Hungarian field of drivers and riders will gather in Nagykálló. Beside the the best Hungarian competitors, Miroslav Zapletal will also return to us. The starters need to cover a total of 265 kilometres on sandy tracks within the two racedays. According to the forecasts, sunny, clear weather is expected so everything is given for a classic and enjoyable competition’ – said Attila Csató, the organiser of the competition.
Besides the excitement on the track, the service park will also have a historic attraction. László Belicza, the mayor of Kállósemjén, told that the 90-year-old Ford Model A – owned by the village – will be exhibited to the public. The former Prime Minister of Hungary, Miklós Kállay raced with this model at the Debrecen-Tokaj competition several years ago.
’We are happy to be able to exhibit our pride at Nyír1 Baja. We found and bought the car at the French-Dutch border a long time ago. It was completely renovated in 2015 and has been operational ever since. Of course there are problems with her at times, it is temperamental like such an old lady’ – told László Belicza.
