Öt esztendő után tér vissza a Nyírségbe a CEZ és a Magyar Tereprallye Bajnokság mezőnye
Változás állt be a 2021-es Közép-Európai Zóna Bajnokság és a Nyílt Magyar Tereprallye Bajnokság versenynaptárába. Július 8-10. között nem az eredetileg kijelölt helyszínen, Béren lesz megrendezve a verseny, hanem a mezőny 2016 után visszatér Nagykállóra. A Nyír1 Baja viadal hat szakaszból áll majd, és a versenyzők 265 kilométert tesznek meg két nap alatt.
A tavalyi, versenymentes év után a poraiból feltámadó hazai tereprallye szakág 2021-re egy hatállomásos bajnokságot írt ki, amelyből két viadalt – Riverside Baja és a Baja Satu Mare – már meg is rendezett nagy sikerrel és még nagyobb mezőnnyel. A harmadik versenyre július 8-10. között kerül sor, ám itt akadt némi változás. Az eredeti helyszín, Bér helyett Nagykállón rendezik meg a Nyír1 Baját, amely nemcsak a hazai bajnokság harmadik viadala, hanem az FIA Közép-európai Zóna (CEZ) Tereprallye Bajnokság következő állomása is egyben.
Nagykálló nem lesz ismeretlen a remélhetőleg minél nagyobb létszámú magyar és nemzetközi mezőny számára, hiszen öt évvel ezelőtt, 2016-ban már rendeztek itt versenyt, ráadásul a tavalyi esztendőben szinte valamennyi versenyző tesztelt itt. Csató Attila, a verseny szervezője állítja, a lehető legjobb körülmények várják a csapatokat és a versenyzőket, és biztos lehet abban mindenki, fantasztikus viadal vár a mezőnyre.
„Először is szeretném megköszönni Nagykálló városának és mindenkinek, aki segített abban, hogy a versenyt meg tudjuk új helyszínen rendezni. Homokos talajú, nagyon jó pályákra számíthatnak majd a versenyzők, akik az idén megszokott menetrend szerint pénteken két 20 kilométeres szakaszt teljesítenek, majd szombaton négy szakaszon, összesen 225 kilométert hagynak maguk mögött. A nevezés elindult, remélem ismét sikerül résztvevői rekordot döntenünk” – mondta Csató Attila, aki hozzátette, az egészségügyi szabályok betartásával nézők kilátogathatnak a versenyre, ahova díjtalanlesz a belépés a város sporttelepén felállítandó szervízparkba.

After five long years the competitors of CEZ and the Hungarian Off-Road Championship return tothe Nyírség area
There has been a change in the competition calendar of the2021 Central European Zone Championship (CEZ) and the Hungarian Open Off-Road Championship. The competition from July 8 to 10 will be held in Nagykálló which took the place from the originally designatedlocation in Bér. The Nyír1 Baja will consist of six stagesand the riders will cover 265 kilometers in two days.
After last year when we could not organise any competition, the Hungarian Off-Road Rally Federation was resurrectedfrom its dust and announced a six-event championship in 2021. Two races – Riverside Baja and Baja Satu Mare – havealready took place with great success and record amount of competitors. The third race will be from July 8 to 10. But therehas been some change here. Instead of the original location, Bér, the Nyír1 Baja will be held in Nagykálló. Beyond thatNyír1 Baja will be the third event of the Hungarian Open Off-Road Championship 2021, it will also be the next stop of theFIA Central European Zone Championship (CEZ).
Nagykálló will not be unfamiliar for the Hungarian and International drivers and riders as five years ago, in 2016, a competition was held here, and last year almost all thecompetitors tested here. Attila Csató, the organiser of thecompetition, claims that the best possible conditions await theteams and the competitors. According to him we will see a fantastic race.
First of all, I would like to thank the city of Nagykálló and everyone who helped us to organise the competition and letthis happen in a new location. Competitors will face standout sandy tracks. As usual, they have to complete two 20 kilometres long stages on Friday while on Saturday they needto cover four stages and 225 kilometres. The entry registrationhas started and I hope we will see a record amount of nameson the entry list’ – said Attila Csató, who added that byobserving the health rules, spectators are allowed to visit thecompetition and the service park as well which will be at thesportfield of the city.
